PARIS, Ill. — A collaborative effort between the Paris Fire and Police Departments successfully managed a porch fire at a residence on Monday afternoon.
Fire Chief Zack Janis shared in a Facebook update that the call came in at around 4:19 p.m. on May 25, reporting a potential structure fire on West Adams Street. As the situation unfolded, dispatch informed responders that the home’s occupants were in the process of evacuating and attempting to control the blaze with portable fire extinguishers.
