Slated to open within the next 6-8 weeks, this new outpost operates out of a charmingly restored Standard Oil gas station—one of the first ever built in St. Pete—giving carb enthusiasts a unique blend of nostalgia and top-tier breakfast fare.

Before Peterman got his hands on it, this vintage fuel station was a junkyard. Enter the Blackmon family, longtime property owners who wanted to preserve the building’s legacy. By teaming up with Pete’s Bagels, they not only secured a local historic designation but are also working toward national recognition. The result? A brick-based, off-white beauty with an overhang shading the order window—perfect for a leisurely morning bagel run.

The new spot will be drive-thru only, but in a rare (and much-needed) break from fast food chains, Pete’s Bagels welcomes walk-up customers—so cyclists, pedestrians, and scooter riders can still get their fix. This is a win for anyone who has ever been turned away at a drive-thru just for showing up on foot (we’ve all been there).
