Police: Arrests made after Bluff City shooting

BLUFF CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Bluff City police have made arrests in connection to a shooting on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Bluff City Police Department (BCPD), officers responded to a reported shooting in the Highland Dr. area around 12:10 p.m.

When officers arrived, they were able to confirm that a shooting had taken place. Investigators determined the shooting was an isolated incident, and there was no immediate threat to the public, according to the BCPD.

The BCPD reported that arrests had been made in connection to the shooting; however, no identities or charges were provided by police.

As of Wednesday afternoon, another person believed to be involved in the shooting is being sought by investigators.

No injuries were reported in connection to the shooting, according to police.

“We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available,” the BCPD stated in an email.
