STATESBORO, Ga. () — Two individuals have been arrested and face multiple charges from the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) after a drug and weapons seizure.
According to BCSO, officials received a warrant to search the home of Taylor Edward Thornhill, 23, and David Elijah George, 25, south of Mulberry Street. The warrant came after the office suspected a person there was selling drugs. In the property, officers found marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, prescription pills and large supply of weapons.
Included in the weapons stockpile were nine firearms and three “edged weapons” to include a Louisville slugger with a sawblade through it, a machete and a large hunting knife.
Thornhill and George were booked and arrested. They face multiple charges.
Thornhill faces five counts of possession of firearm or knife during commission or attempt to commit felony and one count of possession of schedule ii controlled substance.
George faces six counts of possession of firearm or knife during commission or attempt to commit felony, two counts of schedule I or II controlled substance – possession with intent, five counts of marijuana – purchase possession distribution or sale, four counts of use of communication facility in commission of a felony involving controlled substances and one count of possession and use of drug related objects.
