PALM BAY, Fla. – Authorities reported that a late-night shooting at a Palm Bay park on Friday left three individuals wounded.

As per the Palm Bay Police Department, officers arrived at Castaways Point Park on Bay Boulevard shortly before midnight. Allegedly, individuals wearing ski masks approached a parked vehicle and opened fire, according to a police statement.

Inside the vehicle, a 21-year-old man sustained several gunshot wounds. An 18-year-old man was hit by a bullet, and a 16-year-old girl suffered a graze wound in addition to injuries caused by shattered glass, the statement detailed.

Around 12:12 a.m. on Saturday, police were informed that the trio had reached Palm Bay Community Hospital, as they continued their investigation at the park.

The incident is believed to have occurred during a gathering, the release noted. Authorities mentioned the possible involvement of a black Mercedes-Benz sedan or SUV in the incident, though detectives have yet to confirm these details as of this report.

No arrests have yet been made in the incident, police said.
