PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. – For the sixth consecutive year, Port Canaveral has been honored as the “Best U.S. Cruise Homeport” by an influential online platform favored by cruise aficionados.
The accolade was announced by Cruise Hive on Monday, highlighting Port Canaveral as the top choice among cruise enthusiasts.
The distinction was based on votes collected from mid-October to mid-December, with Port Canaveral securing 27.3% of the overall votes.

“This recognition underscores the remarkable year we’ve had at Port Canaveral,” stated Capt. John Murray, CEO of Port Canaveral. “It reflects our team’s unwavering dedication to excellence and our ongoing commitment to enhancing the guest experience.”
Cruise Hive highlighted Port Canaveral’s cruise experience with “easy-to-read signage directing drivers to their respective cruise terminals and ample parking ensuring a smooth arrival and departure.”
Port leaders announced earlier this month that it surpassed every other cruise terminal on the planet in annual passenger traffic.
Port Canaveral is currently home to 18 cruise ships and handled more than 6 million tons of cargo in the past year.
