The anticipation surrounding the Powerball continues to escalate as the jackpot has once more gone unclaimed following Saturday night’s drawing. Despite the hopes of many, no ticket matched the winning numbers: 13, 14, 26, 28, 44, with a red Powerball of 7. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.

With no winner emerging, the jackpot has now ballooned to an enticing $875 million, with a cash option valued at $403.6 million. This staggering amount places the current prize as the seventh-largest in Powerball’s storied history. It’s still trailing behind the colossal $1.08 billion prize bagged in California just two years ago.

When considering both Powerball and Mega Millions, this jackpot stands as the 15th largest, just shy of the impressive $980 million Mega Millions prize won in Georgia last month. The excitement continues to build as players nationwide dream of becoming the next big winner.

At that size, the current jackpot ranks as the seventh-largest in Powerball history, well behind a $1.08 billion jackpot won in California two years ago:

  1. $2.04 billion: Nov. 7, 2022; California
  2. $1.787 billion: Sept. 6, 2025; Missouri, Texas
  3. $1.765 billion: Oct. 11, 2023; California
  4. $1.586 billion: Jan. 13, 2016; California, Florida, Tennessee
  5. $1.326 billion: April 6, 2024; Oregon
  6. $1.08 billion: July 19, 2023; California
  7. Est. $875 million: Current
  8. $842.4 million: Jan. 1, 2024; Michigan
  9. $768.4 million: March 27, 2019; Wisconsin
  10. $758.7 million: Aug. 23, 2017; Massachusetts

Across Powerball and Mega Millions, the jackpot ranks as the 15th-largest, coming in behind the $980 million Mega Millions jackpot won in Georgia last month.

While there were no jackpot-winning tickets in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, four tickets won at least $1 million, according to game officials.

Tickets that matched the five white numbers drawn, making them worth $1 million each, were sold in Florida, Georgia, and Texas. A ticket sold in New Jersey also matched five numbers, but since it included the optional Power Play, it’s worth $2 million.

Twenty-eight other tickets matched four numbers drawn and the red Powerball, making them worth $50,000.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Monday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Additional drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. The lottery game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Should you overcome the overwhelming odds, experts recommend keeping your victory a secret for as long as possible — something that may be impossible, depending on where you live. It’s also encouraged that you build a team of experts around you, including a financial advisor, a tax advisor, and a lawyer.
