RANTOUL, Ill. (WCIA) — Everyone knows their health is important, and that’s why Promise Healthcare in Rantoul celebrated one of their biggest events on Friday.

On Aug. 8, hundreds of people across Champaign County stopped by to check out the family fun event. The CEO of the Rantoul branch said Friday afternoon was all about providing information, handing out backpacks and making sure the people out there are getting their appointments scheduled, such as physicals, counseling, dental screenings and more.

“We are here for the community,” said Jennifer Henry, CEO of the Promise Healthcare Rantoul branch. “We want to be able to provide services and let people know you can see us regardless of insurance status, regardless of your ability to pay, no one is going to be turned away. One of our core values is the needs of the patient come first.”

She also said if you happened to miss out on the event, you can call their office at 217-356-1558 to get set up.
