SAVANNAH, Ga. — In the wake of the recent U.S. military operation in Venezuela, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) has swiftly organized emergency protests across the nation, including in Savannah. These demonstrations, taking place on Saturday, center around the rallying cry, “No war in Venezuela,” as participants express their disapproval of the U.S. actions that led to the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife.
Leaders in Georgia and South Carolina have been vocal in their reactions to the military intervention, with many questioning the motives and potential consequences of such an operation. The PSL is particularly concerned about the prospect of another prolonged conflict, which they argue is founded on misinformation.
