HINESVILLE, Ga. () — Quavo and other artists are set to perform during the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield’s free concert in late June, officials said Tuesday.

Salute to Summer will be open to the public and include Quavo, Chase Rice and DJ Rock, officials said. The free concert will start at 7 p.m. June 27 on Donovan Field.

“Salute to Summer is a way to thank our Service members and Families for their steadfast commitment and readiness to serve our nation,” said Col. Marc Austin, Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield Garrison Commander. “The interconnectedness of our military installations and surrounding communities is an invaluable asset that ensures our force is resilient and focused on our core mission. This is an opportunity for us to recharge and forge bonds with our Coastal Georgia community.”

There will also be food trucks and family friendly activities starting at 3:30 p.m.

“We are blessed with strong relationships, and we are grateful for your continued support of the 3rd Infantry Division, our Special Operations, Coast Guard and supporting units stationed here. Come celebrate with us as we observe the Army’s 250th birthday, America’s first national institution.”

Capt. Maurice Britt gate, off Old Sunbury Road, will be accessible starting at 3:30 p.m.
