Raising Cane’s expands with grand opening in Lutz

LUTZ, Fla. (BLOOM) – Pasco County is about to get a little more delicious as Raising Cane’s, the popular fast-casual chicken finger chain, opens its third Tampa-area location at 25952 FL-56 on Jan. 28. The grand opening celebration promises a day of excitement for fans and newcomers alike, featuring giveaways, live entertainment, and a community-focused ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The festivities kick off bright and early, with doors opening to customers at 10 a.m. Highlights include:

  • “Lucky 20” Drawing: Twenty lucky guests, aged 13 and older, will win free Raising Cane’s for a year. Entries are accepted from 8 to 9 a.m., with winners announced shortly after.
  • Exclusive Swag: The first 100 customers to purchase a combo will receive a commemorative hat and a free Box Combo card valid on their next visit.
  • Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: North Tampa Bay Chamber President/CEO Hope Kennedy will preside over the event, starting at approximately 9:30 a.m.
  • Community Donation: A special check presentation will benefit Wiregrass Creek High School.

Adding to the lively atmosphere, a DJ will provide entertainment throughout the day, and attendees can enjoy photo opportunities and Cane’s-branded giveaways.

“We’re overjoyed to welcome Raising Cane’s craveable Chicken Finger meals to Pasco County,” said Kim Boldus, Area Leader of Restaurants. “This new location offers locals and visitors a convenient spot to enjoy our signature ONE LOVE® meals.”

Located in front of the Tampa Premium Outlets, the new restaurant features a double-lane drive-thru and a dining room adorned with vibrant graphics and memorabilia that honor the local community.

Raising Cane’s, known for its hand-battered chicken fingers, freshly made Cane’s Sauce, premium crinkle-cut fries, buttery toast, and house-made coleslaw, continues its rapid expansion across Florida. The Lutz restaurant is the brand’s 19th location in the state, with plans to open its first St. Petersburg location later this year.
