AUGUSTA, Ga. () – Recent revelations from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office shed light on the arrest of a former deputy, bringing new details to the fore.

According to comprehensive reports, Diana Santiago is linked to a known gang associate who purportedly collaborated with a CVS pharmacist to pilfer prescription drugs from customers.

On September 9th, Santiago, once serving as a deputy, allegedly spoke with a victim who claimed that their medication had been collected from the Walton Way CVS by an unidentified individual.

Authorities indicate that surveillance footage captured Chad Walker, identified as a member of the gang Loyalty Over Everything (L.O.E.), retrieving the prescriptions via the drive-through.

Walker was said to be driving a car registered to Sabel Williams, a pharmacist at CVS.

Williams was arrested and interviewed by Diana Santiago and another deputy regarding the theft of narcotics. She reportedly denied any wrongdoing and said that Walker was the target of the investigation.

Following the interview, Santiago disclosed that she dated Walker in the past.

Reports go on to say that on September 19th, Santiago saw Walker at a club and attempted to arrest him. He took off in a vehicle and fled the scene.

On October 15th, another RCSO deputy was contacted by Sabel Williams. She allegedly said that Walker reported everything back to her regarding her interview with police.

That deputy then contacted his supervisor regarding Diana Santiago.

She was arrested October 20th and charged with Violation of Oath of Office, Conspiracy to Purchase or Possess a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Street Gang Activity and booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
