Man wanted by RCSO for questioning in reference to theft by taking involving firearm

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is in search for a man who is wanted for questioning in reference to a theft by taking and pointing a firearm.

Authorities say the incident happened on August 7th on the 400 block of Aiken Street.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office states that Dominique Davis (5’9″, 155 pounds) is wanted for questioning in regards to the incident.

According to the incident report, deputies were called to a residence on Aiken Street in reference to a disturbance, and the alleged victim told officers that he had been involved in a verbal argument with Davis regarding a personal matter.

The alleged victim states that during the argument, he tried to make a phone calling using his phone but Davis snatched the phone from his hand.

The alleged victim says he followed Davis outside and advised Davis to return his phone, but he refused, and when the alleged victim tried to re-entre his home, he says Davis approached him to prevent him from entering.

The alleged victim states that when he tried to close the front door, and Davis responded by kicking the door with his right foot, and the reporting deputy states in the incident report that he observed minor damage to the front door.

The alleged victim ended with after the kicking of the door, he states that Davis reached into his waistband and retrieved a silver-colored firearm (NOD) and pointed the firearm stating a threat, “I’ll shoot this [expletive] on his birthday,” and then, he says Davis left the scene without returning the cell phone.
