SAVANNAH, Ga. () — It’s the second week of Friday Night Blitz! Here’s a rundown of what happened under the Friday night lights.
In the biggest game in the state of Georgia, Benedictine, the No. 2 team in Class AAAA, hosted Buford, No. 2 team in Class AAAAAA and No. 13 team nationally, at Memorial Stadium. Buford looked better than advertised as they rolled easily to their second win of the season.
Windsor Forest was able to pick up its first win of the season. The Knights defeated Brantley County, 19-6, at Savannah High Stadium.
