This past weekend, Central Illinois experienced a downpour unlike any seen in the last couple of months, with rain falling steadily from Saturday night into Sunday morning. While this much-needed rainfall isn’t enough to completely eliminate drought conditions in the area, it marks a significant step toward recovery. The following are some of the rainfall totals reported from various locations across Central Illinois.

Note: Some of the CoCoRaHS reports originate from areas outside of city limits, with the nearest town used for identification purposes.
If you’re interested in becoming a CoCoRaHS observer or learning more about the program, you can find more information here.
