Many workers in the U.S. may be used to dealing with horrific traffic on their highway commutes each morning. When some parts start slowing to a crawl, it can be an absolute nightmare for drivers across the board.

But as it turns out, some stretches may not be so bad — including one in Central Florida.

That’s according to Quantrell Volvo, which put together a study determining drivers’ favorite stretches of highway in America.

“To figure out which suburban-to-city drives really stand out, Quantrell Volvo asked 3,105 commuters to share the routes they love the most — the ones where the journey itself is worth the price of gas,” a spokesperson told News 6.

The top pick nationwide is Kailua to Honolulu via Pali Highway in Hawaii, which earned its spot thanks to its scenery.

“The first-placed dream drive starts on Oahu’s lush Windward side, pulling you through the Ko’olau Mountains, where the scenery feels like something out of a postcard,” the study reads. “As you wind down toward Honolulu, the road opens up to killer views of the city and the Pacific stretching out forever. Misty cliffs, thick rainforests, and shimmering ocean waves make it less of a commute and more of a mini-vacation every day.”

But while the Sunshine State didn’t make the top of the list, it wasn’t far off.

According to the study, the top stretch of highway in Florida is the route from St. Augustine to Jacksonville, via Interstate 95. This particular stretch came in at No. 11.

“This historic route takes commuters from the nation’s oldest city to one of Florida’s busiest business hubs. Along the way, travelers pass Spanish-style architecture, coastal marshlands, and stretches of old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. The transition from historic charm to modern urban energy makes this drive an enjoyable and visually interesting commute.”

That’s not the only high-ranking stretch of highway in Florida, though.

Coming in a bit further down at No. 19 is the top stretch in Central Florida: Winter Park to Orlando, via Interstate 4.

“Starting in the charming, tree-lined streets of Winter Park, this commute into Orlando takes drivers past scenic lakes, upscale neighborhoods, and vibrant cultural hotspots. As commuters near downtown, the skyline of Orlando emerges, along with views of its world-famous theme parks in the distance. Despite I-4’s occasional congestion, the variety of scenery along this route makes it an engaging drive.”
