ORLANDO, Fla. – In a recent analysis by WalletHub, the 2026 edition of America’s happiest cities has been unveiled, showcasing regions that inspire the most joy across the country.

Researchers conducted this study by exploring various indicators, such as depression rates, availability of leisure time, and trends in income growth.

In WalletHub’s comprehensive state-by-state happiness assessment, Florida secured the 14th spot, revealing its relative contentment compared to the rest of the nation.

However, when dissecting Florida’s major metropolitan areas, the state didn’t fare as well. Cape Coral emerged as the highest-ranked city, positioned at No. 41 on the list.

Other cities like Tallahassee and Hialeah didn’t perform strongly either, landing at No. 100 and No. 101, respectively.
