Richmond Co. Sheriff's Office: Two Family Dollar Stores hit, two suspects wanted

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is asking the public’s help in locating two men after two different Family Dollar Stores were hit.

On August 12th an Armed Robbery occurred at the Family Dollar at 3447 Peach Orchard Road. The subject is a black male between 5’7” and 5’09”.

The subject appeared to be wearing a wig and a Nike Face Mask. He left the scene on foot in the area of Rosier Road. This subject should be considered Armed and Dangerous.

Victor James Evans

In a separate incident on August 12th, Victor Evans is wanted for a Smash and Grab Burglary at the Family Dollar at 825 Laney Walker Boulevard, according to RCSO.

Evans was last seen on foot at Chevron on Walton Way and is believed to still be in the general area. He also known to frequent the Olive Road and Deans Bridge Road area.

Victor Evans is believed to be homeless.
