AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Richmond County School System (RCSS) is set to host the “Grow Richmond” career fair, designed to provide valuable career opportunities for the local community.
This event aims to connect participants with representatives from various colleges and departments across Georgia, offering insights into diverse career pathways.
Key departments such as transportation and maintenance will be on hand to guide attendees on how to embark on a successful career journey.
Kenneth L. Johnson Jr., Director of Human Resources, emphasized the importance of this event in bridging the gap between potential RCSS partners and current employees.
“Our hope is that this event effectively bridges the gap, providing vital information to future RCSS partners as well as our current employees about the various career pathways available,” Johnson shared. “Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes, but more importantly, they should come prepared with questions and an open mind to explore the many ways they can contribute to the Richmond County School System.”
The career fair will take place at the National Hills Learning Center on Norwood Road, from 4p.m. to 7p.m.
