ROCHESTER, Ill. – The Rochester Police Department has been notably busy in the early months of this year, responding to a substantial volume of calls and conducting numerous traffic stops. According to a post shared on their Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon, officers have been engaged in over 800 calls for service and have made more than 300 traffic stops between January and March.
Specifically, between the start of January and the end of March, the police attended to 832 calls, demonstrating their active role in maintaining community safety. During the same period, they conducted 327 traffic stops, addressing a variety of concerns on the roads.
