Florida troopers investigate wreck near Ormond Beach
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – A pickup truck pulling a camper overturned Monday in a crash with a tractor-trailer, blocking Interstate 95 in Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The two-vehicle wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. on I-95 south at mile marker 270 near Ormond Beach.
Troopers said the semitrailer and Ford F-150 collided, causing the pickup and camper to overturn.
The FHP said one person was taken to AdventHealth Daytona Beach, but no other details were released.
Two lanes were reopened about an hour after the crash, but traffic was backed up in the area.
A crash investigation is ongoing.
