AUGUSTA, Ga. – Rory McIlroy has secured his place in history by winning the 90th Masters Tournament, becoming only the fourth golfer to capture the prestigious green jacket in consecutive years. He joins the esteemed company of Jack Nicklaus (1965 and ’66), Nick Faldo (1989 and ’90), and Tiger Woods (2001 and ’02) in achieving this remarkable feat. McIlroy clinched victory with a final round score of 71, finishing the tournament at 12-under par, narrowly edging out two-time champion Scottie Scheffler by a single stroke.
This victory also marks a significant milestone in McIlroy’s career, as his triumph in 2025 completed his career Grand Slam, further cementing his legacy in the world of golf.
