RUSSELL COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — Several firearms, $11,000 in cash and drugs were seized by police in Lebanon, Virginia on Wednesday.
According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO), two separate search warrants were conducted at houses in the Lebanon area after investigations by the Holston River Regional Drug Task Force.
The search found cocaine at one house and large quantities of pills, believed to be a Scheduled I Controlled substance, at the other.

More than $11,000 in cash and several firearms were also seized, the sheriff’s office stated.
“This investigation led to the arrest of one individual for multiple counts of distribution of cocaine,” the RCSO said in the release. “The Russell County Sheriff’s Office has obtained warrants on another individual for possession [of] controlled substances with the intent to distribute and other related firearms charges.”
The Holston River Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of the RCSO, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Lebanon Police Department and Virginia State Police.
