SANFORD, Fla. – Authorities have announced the arrest of a suspect linked to a fatal shooting in Sanford last November, which resulted in one death and left another individual injured.
Moses Mitchell, aged 30, was detained by police on Thursday.
According to the Sanford Police Department, Mitchell is considered “one of the suspects” involved in the shooting that claimed the life of 22-year-old La-Don Ja Quan Williams. The incident took place near the intersection of 14th Street and Mangoustine Avenue.
“Detectives are currently working to identify and apprehend additional individuals connected to the homicide of La-Don,” stated the police.
Mitchell is now facing charges of first-degree premeditated murder.
An investigation is ongoing.
