Savoy holding celebration of life for centenarian D-Day veteran

SAVOY, Ill. (WCIA) — Residents of Savoy will have the opportunity to bid farewell this Sunday to a centenarian who left a lasting impression over his 100-year lifetime.

Earlier this month, Duane “Harvey” Hodges, a World War II Veteran, passed away. A celebration of his life will be held at the Windsor of Savoy, offering a space for friends and family to reminisce and honor his legacy.
