SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. () – A serious charge has been brought against an individual in Screven County following a prompt response from local authorities. On Friday, officials confirmed the arrest of a man in connection with a Child Molestation charge.
The incident began unfolding on June 18, when deputies from the Screven County Sheriff’s Office responded to an urgent 911 call concerning a “possible child molestation incident.”
Upon arrival, law enforcement swiftly identified and apprehended Caleb Clifton. He was then handed over to the Oliver Police Department for further questioning.
The ensuing investigation, led by the dedicated investigators of the Screven County Sheriff’s Office, ultimately resulted in Clifton being charged with Child Molestation. He was processed and booked at the county’s sheriff’s office following his arrest.
