The search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has now extended into its second week, with authorities still unable to pinpoint any suspects linked to her puzzling disappearance.

Leading the investigation are the FBI in collaboration with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, as they work tirelessly to unravel the mystery of Guthrie’s sudden vanishing. She was last seen at her Tucson, Arizona home on the evening of January 31, and since then, there has been no trace of her.

Concerns are mounting over Guthrie’s well-being, particularly because she relies on daily medication to manage heart health issues, high blood pressure, and a pacemaker, as reported by the Associated Press.

Her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, known for co-anchoring the “TODAY” show, has temporarily stepped away from her duties to join the search effort for her mother.

In a heartfelt appeal, Savannah Guthrie, with the support of her siblings, has released several videos urging for their mother’s safe return. They even expressed their readiness to pay for her release, following a tip-off received by KOLD, a local TV station, regarding her mother’s case.

“We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace,” Savannah Guthrie said in the video, while sitting next to her sister, Annie, and brother Camron.

“This is very valuable to us, and we will pay,” Savannah added at the end.

President Donald Trump offered his condolences to Savannah Guthrie during a phone call last week, and FBI Director Kash Patel said he’s receiving “personal updates” on the search for Nancy.

The public has taken an interest in the expansive search for Savannah’s mother and have been asked to pray for the best outcome possible.

“We believe in prayer. We believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. We believe in goodness,” Guthrie wrote in the post. “We believe in humanity. Above all, we believe in Him.”

“Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant,” she continued. “Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment. We need you.”
