2 arrested in Scott County after 10-week-old baby hospitalized

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — Authorities have charged two individuals with child abuse following the hospitalization of a 10-week-old baby, as reported by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, investigators were alerted by the Scott County Department of Social Services that the infant had suffered “significant injuries resulting from child abuse,” according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
