TAMPA, Fla. – In a shocking revelation, federal prosecutors have accused a woman, referred to as “Prophetess,” of collaborating with church officials to manage call centers that allegedly exploited forced labor for fundraising, amassing tens of millions in donations.

Legal documents reveal that Kathleen Klein is charged with partnering with church leader David Taylor and executive director Michelle Brannon through the Kingdom of God Church to orchestrate this fundraising scheme.

Prosecutors claim that church followers endured threats, sleep deprivation, and mistreatment as the organization collected over $50 million in donations.

Following an FBI raid on a luxury mansion in Tampa’s Avila neighborhood last year, Brannon was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in a Michigan courtroom today for a related hearing.

Authorities have reported that FBI agents carried out search warrants at the mansion as part of their ongoing federal investigation.

The Kingdom of God Global Church has denied the allegations.

If convicted, Klein could face up to 20 years in prison. Brannon has been out on bond since her arrest under several conditions, including surrendering her passport.

Meanwhile, the church continues to operate as the federal investigation moves forward.
