Shocking Message Found: 'ICE OUT' Scribbled on K-9 Officer's Kennel Chart, DHS Reports

EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) — The Department of Homeland Security recently reported that some of its K-9 officers have become the focal point of protests.

In a message shared on X, the DHS exclaimed, “THEY’RE EVEN GOING AFTER THE DOGS!”

Immigration officers are reportedly utilizing broad powers that allow them to enter homes without a warrant from a judge, according to a memo.

The agency included an image of Dina, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection dog, along with her feeding schedule from a Minneapolis kennel.

The feed chart image revealed that someone had written “ICE OUT” on it.

The DHS stated that it had discovered an employee had written the message.

The Trump administration launched a crackdown on illegal immigration dubbed “Operation Metro Surge” in Minneapolis in late December.

Protests erupted when a federal immigration officer shot and killed Renee Good on Jan. 7, and have become a daily occurrence.

With tension between residents and federal immigration officers increasingly rising, President Trump, last week, threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act, an 1807 law, and deploy troops to quell persistent protests against the federal officers.

The following day, however, he said there was no reason for him to do it.

“I don’t think there’s any reason right now to use it, but if I needed it, I’d use it,” Trump told reporters.

The governor and mayor have implored protesters to remain peaceful.

On Wednesday, a federal appeals court suspended a decision that prohibited federal officers from using tear gas or pepper spray against peaceful protesters in Minnesota.
