In a startling incident in Lakeland, Florida, authorities have apprehended a convicted felon who allegedly impersonated a government official in a brazen attempt to kidnap a 9-year-old child. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect as 56-year-old Nicole Terry Thomas.
Thomas is now facing a slew of charges including attempted kidnapping, burglary, and misuse of the 911 system, among other offenses. She is currently being held without the possibility of bail.
