In Danville, Illinois, an altercation involving three teenage girls led to their arrest on multiple charges following a stabbing incident on Thursday afternoon, as reported by WCIA.
Danville’s Deputy Chief of Police, Doug Miller, detailed the event in a news release, stating that the stabbing took place near the intersection of East Main and Griffin Streets. A patrolling officer witnessed the disturbance just before 4 p.m. and quickly stepped in to investigate.
“Upon intervention, officers discovered that a 34-year-old woman had been stabbed during the altercation,” Miller explained. “The injured party was promptly transported to a local hospital, where she is currently receiving care and is in stable condition.”
