BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX has achieved a significant milestone by conducting its 136th rocket launch within the United States this year, surpassing NASA’s entire lifetime total of 135 launches for the space shuttle program.

In an impressive feat on Sunday morning, SpaceX successfully sent 28 Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral. This marked the 89th rocket launch of 2025 from Brevard County alone, contributing to a new annual record for SpaceX launches across the nation.

With two months remaining in the year, the final tally of SpaceX launches in 2025 remains uncertain, leaving room for speculation about how high the number might climb.
