Spotify is set to delight fans this summer by introducing a unique initiative aimed at rewarding the most devoted listeners of their favorite artists. The music streaming service unveiled its latest program, aptly named “Reserved,” on Thursday, designed to enhance the concert-going experience for Spotify’s loyal users.
Through this innovative program, Spotify plans to reserve up to two concert tickets exclusively for the most passionate fans of an artist. This offer is specifically available to Spotify Premium subscribers who are 18 years or older, ensuring that ardent supporters have the opportunity to witness live performances without the hassle of competing for tickets.
By launching the “Reserved” program, Spotify continues to strengthen its connection with its user base, tapping into the magic of live music to foster a deeper bond between artists and their audiences. This initiative is part of Spotify’s ongoing effort to provide added value to its subscribers while promoting a more personalized music experience.
(NewsNation) — Spotify is rewarding artists’ most loyal listeners this summer by reserving concert tickets for them.
The streaming giant announced its new “Reserved” program in a company release Thursday, revealing that it will begin holding up to two tickets for “an artist’s most dedicated fans” who are Spotify Premium subscribers and above 18 years of age.
“You show up for the artist, Spotify shows up for you,” the company wrote in its release. “No added fees from Spotify, and more of an artist’s truest fans will end up in the crowd where it matters most.”
Eligible fans will receive an email and in-app notification from Spotify alerting them to the tickets, which will be available for about a day.
Fans who receive the notification will have access to any show on the tour. Transactions should be completed on the ticketing partner’s platform within the one-day window.
“Ticket types, seating options, and availability will vary by show,” Spotify noted.
The program will start with “newly announced tours for select artists” this summer, according to the release, but will eventually expand to include “more tours of all sizes, including many of the most sought-after shows on the road.”
