Spotlight on Unsung Heroes: Team Managers Propel Illini to Final Four Success

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WCIA) — While their contributions may not be captured in the official statistics, the players and coaches of the Fighting Illini are vocal about the critical role team managers play in their success.

“Without the managers, you wouldn’t see half of what we achieve,” explained Illini guard Ty Rodgers. “They’re dedicated, spending more time in the gym than we do. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., they’re there, and even late at night, they’re busy with tasks like laundry. Their commitment is impressive.”
