Springfield man arrested after investigation finds 1,200+ grams of drugs, 2 firearms

In Springfield, Illinois, a woman faces serious charges following a significant drug bust at her residence. On December 23, authorities arrested 41-year-old Lindsay Seward after an investigation revealed a cache of illegal items in her home.

The Springfield Police Department, in collaboration with the Illinois State Police Central Illinois Enforcement Group and the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search warrant at Seward’s residence. During this operation, they discovered a revolver, a substantial amount of U.S. currency, and approximately 854 grams of what is believed to be methamphetamine.
