ELLABELL, Ga. () — St. Joseph’s/Candler held a grand opening for its new campus Thursday right across from the Hyundai Metaplant in Ellabell.

This $10 million dollar 40,000-square-foot facility will provide primary care and urgent care services, as well as specialty medical services.

Officials said the facility will help support the growing communities along the Interstate-16 corridor.

“The most urgent need right now is urgent care, primary care and industrial medicine for all the companies that are around this area including the Hyundai plant across the street,” President and CEO of St. Joseph’s/Candler Paul P. Hinchey said. “So that’s why there’s so much excitement they;ve waited a long time and north Bryan County deserves it.”

The facility will also hold office space for the Development Authority of Bryan County.
