ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A beloved dive bar in Pass-a-Grille is challenging local regulations imposed by St. Pete Beach that pertain to the sea turtle nesting season.

Shadrack’s, a long-standing establishment on 8th Avenue, has been issued fines for illuminating its iconic sign, a fixture that has been a part of the neighborhood for more than five decades. The bar’s owner stated that the fines amount to $250 per day, as detailed in citations from local code enforcement.
