TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you are looking for a place to find your next favorite pour, you may want to check out a wine bar in St. Petersburg that just earned national recognition.

Ten wine bars across the country were nominated and voted by USA Today readers as the best in the U.S.

Allelo, located on Beach Drive Northeast, took the No. 5 spot on USA Today’s 10Best list. It was the only wine bar in Florida to make the list.

“Flamingos and royal blues make this wine bar’s locale in sunny St. Petersburg unmistakable,” USA Today wrote. “With a name inspired by a flock of birds, the venue is all about encouraging groups of friends and loved ones to come together over good food and wine — the latter of which they offer a global by-the-glass program, with pours like Spanish albariño and Greek moschofilero.”
