SAVANNAH, Ga. () – Another gorgeous day is on tap across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry to close out the weekend. Expect low humidity, a pleasant breeze, and plenty of sunshine, all thanks to high pressure overhead. Afternoon highs will stay comfortable in the mid-80s.
The sunny, pleasant weather continues into Monday. By Tuesday, winds will gradually shift from the northeast to the southwest, bringing in warmer and more humid air through the second half of the week. Highs will steadily climb back into the upper 80s, with a few more clouds mixing in.
Meanwhile, a stalled front over Florida will slowly inch closer by the end of the week. As it approaches, we’ll see a slight chance for a few stray showers heading into next weekend.
We’re also watching a tropical wave for the mid to later part of the week that has a medium chance for development. Right now, it is only producing a few showers and storms over the Atlantic as it moves west/northwest. There is also an abundance of dry air that will help limit it’s development.
