SAVANNAH, Ga. () – We’re tracking another chilly, breezy, and mostly cloudy day across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry, with a few isolated showers still possible due to a lingering coastal low. Highs today will only reach the upper 60s to low 70s, and that steady northwest breeze will continue to make it feel even cooler.
As the coastal low lifts north tomorrow, we’ll start to see some sunshine return along with a gradual warm-up. Expect a mix of sun and clouds to start the week, with highs climbing back into the low 80s.
Quiet weather continues to build for the work week. By mid to late week, high pressure builds in, bringing plenty of sunshine and dry weather. Highs will stay comfortable, ranging from the upper 70s to low 80s, right around average for this time of year.
In the tropics, we’re keeping an eye on a disturbance in the eastern Atlantic. It has a medium chance of development over the next week. However, forecast models currently show it curving out to sea, posing no threat to the U.S. at this time.
