SAVANNAH, Ga. — As we kick off the workweek, expect a brief dip in temperatures before warmth and dry conditions settle in for the days ahead.
Following sunset, a cold front is set to sweep through the region, causing winds to shift to the north overnight. This will usher in a cooler Monday morning, with temperatures dipping into the 40s across much of the area. Daytime highs will find it challenging to reach 70 degrees. As Monday night transitions into Tuesday morning, expect another cool spell, thanks to light winds and clear skies that allow heat to dissipate swiftly.
Looking beyond the start of the week, conditions will take a turn for the warmer and more tranquil. Temperatures are expected to climb above average, with morning lows in the 50s and afternoon highs peaking in the upper 70s. Throughout the week, the likelihood of rain remains minimal as the primary storm track stays well to our north. However, as we approach the weekend, an incoming frontal system may bring a chance of rain, indicating a potential shift in the weather pattern over the longer term. While details are still unfolding, this marks the first hint of change on the horizon.
