Storm Team 3 Forecast: Expect a Warm, Tranquil Weather Pattern with Plenty of Sunshine This Weekend

SAVANNAH, Ga. () – Following a spell of cooler-than-usual weather, Savannah is set to experience a significant temperature rise just in time for the weekend. Expect plenty of sunshine and considerably warmer conditions, with temperatures soaring into the lower to mid-80s, making it an ideal weekend for outdoor plans.

A robust high-pressure system positioned to our east will ensure calm weather throughout the week. Although a cold front is predicted to trigger severe weather in parts of the central United States, our region will remain unaffected, thanks to the high-pressure system acting as a blockade.

This weather pattern will persist all week, fostering a consistent warming trend driven by southerly winds. Early in the week, highs will reach the mid-80s, escalating to the upper 80s, with some areas possibly hitting the low 90s as the week concludes.

While it’s a perfect week to enjoy outdoor activities, there’s a downside—no rain is in sight. This is concerning, especially since sections of Southeast Georgia are currently grappling with severe drought conditions.
