Hi there – StormTeam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley here – let’s have a fabulous Wednesday!
We started another day with comfortable morning temperatures in the 60s to low 70s. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with isolated spots south of I-16 around 90 degrees. A few clouds will increase throughout the day. Tomorrow will be more of the same with a stray shower possible in the afternoon and evening.

A low-pressure system will track across the Gulf Coast states on Friday and into this Labor Day weekend. Rain showers will start moving in from the west throughout the day on Friday. Scattered rain will be possible on Saturday and Sunday as well. By early next week, the system will stall to our south and this will help the rain chance back off for Labor Day on Monday. Heavy rain will be possible at times through the holiday weekend. High temperatures will remain below average in the mid 80s.
