SAVANNAH, Ga – Greetings! This is Stormteam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley, wishing you a fantastic start to your Monday!
This morning begins with a chill and overcast skies, but expect the sun to make a grand appearance as the day progresses. The afternoon promises more moderate warmth compared to the recent cold snap, with temperatures hovering around the mid to upper 60s. However, certain areas in the Lowcountry, such as Beaufort and Hilton Head, may linger in the cooler 50s.
As we look ahead to tomorrow, brace for a crisp morning followed by abundant sunshine, nudging the temperatures up into the lower 70s.
Wednesday continues this trend with highs maintaining in the lower 70s, preceding a gentle cold front that will arrive later in the day. This front might bring a few isolated showers as it passes through.
After the front moves on, expect a return to more typical February conditions, with afternoon temperatures settling into the low to mid-60s on Thursday and persisting through Valentine’s Day Weekend.
Rain showers will become possible late Friday and continue through this weekend thanks to a slow-moving area of low pressure moving across the southeast. A warm front passes through on Saturday with scattered showers. The cold front arrives on Sunday. It does not look to be a weekend washout as of now. However, Sunday’s rain chance could increase depending on the speed of the front.Â
