AUGUSTA, Ga. () — Players and patrons enjoyed clear skies and a full practice round at The Masters Tuesday.

At 11:25 a.m. Monday, the Augusta National Golf Club sent an email notice to evacuate patrons and suspend play for the first practice round.

The weather turned around in a positive way Tuesday with clear conditions, allowing players to participate in a full practice round, and allowing patrons to spectate all day.

Some golfers, like University of Georgia graduate Harris English, making his sixth appearance at the Masters, weren’t bothered with the stoppage.

“It’s a different prep,” he said. “I think less is more this week especially being here as many times as I’ve been here you can kind of wear yourself out and play too many practice rounds before Thursday and Friday.”

English is set to tee off for Round One at 9:03 a.m. on Thursday.
