SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Savannah’s Sunset Market launched its second location in the heart of the city at Eastern Wharf Thursday.
The market is focused on highlighting community within Savannah.
“We are a place to give farmers, producers, food artisans a place to really show their wares and to show off their talents,” Founder Naja Hayward-Dobson said. “To do this feels like an honor. It feels like a blessing. It feels like a responsibility to these vendors who are now depending on us to be a platform to be able to help them showcase their wares.”
The market highlights local farmers, fisherman and food artisans. Hayward-Dobson said she is just a visionary and it has taken a village to create the Savannah Sunset Market.
The new location at Eastern Wharf will be open every second and fourth Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
The Farmers & Fisherman located at the Savannah Harbor is open the first, third and fifth Thursdays every month from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
