JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — In a heartfelt initiative to honor and support veterans, the American Legion, along with King’s Mountain Post 24, has launched a flag sale in Johnson City. This effort is more than just a sale; it is a tribute to those who have served and an opportunity for the community to rally behind them.

The flags are available for purchase every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, between 1 and 4 p.m., at the Legion Home located at 409 E Market Street. These sales are not just transactions but contributions to a greater cause, as the proceeds will be directed towards supporting local veterans and replacing the flag at Tannery Knobs.

Bryam Lauzon, representing the American Legion Johnson City/Jonesborough, emphasized the significance of this initiative amidst the upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations. “As we prepare to celebrate this milestone, it is crucial for everyone to have the chance to express their patriotism by proudly displaying our stars and stripes,” he remarked.
