SAVANNAH, Ga. — In a disturbing turn of events, Malik Ramon Anderson, a 29-year-old man previously arrested in connection with a suspected dog-fighting operation, now faces serious charges of a different nature. On Wednesday, a Chatham County grand jury formally indicted him on counts of aggravated child molestation and trafficking a minor for sexual servitude.

Court documents reveal that Anderson is accused of committing the alleged molestation against a child under the age of 16 on September 17, 2025. This charge adds to the gravity of his legal troubles, painting a picture of troubling and predatory behavior.

The bond denial order further details the accusations, stating that Anderson allegedly paid $100 to engage in sexual acts with the minor at a Savannah motel on multiple occasions. Moreover, the order suggests that Anderson facilitated the child’s exploitation by arranging for other men to pay for similar encounters.

According to his bond denial order, he allegedly paid $100 to have sex with a child at a Savannah motel on “numerous occasions.” He also reportedly connected other men to the child for sex for money.

Anderson was arrested for the crimes while out on bond for charges related to an alleged dog fighting ring.

According to the Nov. 12, 2025, indictment, he was previously charged with dog fighting, nine counts of cruelty to animals, trafficking in illegal drugs, possession of drug related objects, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

He was also previously convicted of fleeing and attempting to elude, possession of hydrocodone, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a crime, officials said.

He is due back in court on April 8, 2026, for arraignment on the child molestation and trafficking charges. A trial docket call is scheduled for Feb. 27 for his case in connection to the dog fighting ring.
