CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A growing body of research underscores the idea that physical activity acts as a form of medicine, and Champaign County residents experienced this firsthand on Tuesday.
The Illinois Extension Office held an “Introduction to Tai Chi” session on May 5, as part of “Active Living Week,” an initiative by Healthy Champaign County. This form of Tai Chi, aimed at arthritis relief and fall prevention, has gained recognition from the CDC for its benefits.
